Sneakedy-peak

Here's a little something I've been working on... not quite jewellery, but still in the realm of metal.

It's called "Jellyfish Lantern" and it's crocheted out of steel wire, with bakelite electrical fittings. It will be shown with a whole range of other sealife-inspired works at Noosa Regional Gallery in September. Details here. The exhibition is entitled "Throwing Shadows"... I thought this piece was especially appropriate, don't you?

Very interesting Madeleine! Looks like you'd be keeping good company with metal weaving jeweller Jane Bowring, showing at Ari Jewellery, Brunswick Street, New Farm from this coming Thursday!

OOh, no, Jane Bowring is the real professional... her work is spectacular. I'm just a learner!
